Τhe positive results obtained by Alico Greece last year have been carried forward to this year, judging from the numbers posted by the company for the first half of 2010.

Profit before tax came to 14,926 million € compared to 3,292 million € at the same period last year. This rise is attributed to the 46,4% increase of the Technical Results in Life, which came up to 26,086 million € compared to 17,811 εκ. € in 2009, as well as to the reduction of the General Expenses by 23%, i.e. from 14,519 million € to 11,159 million €.

The company’s turnover was up by 8,3% reaching 154,3 million € compared to 142,5 million € during the first half of 2009.
