ΕΠΙΣΚΟΠΗΣΗ

The Claims Handling Coordinators’ main responsibility is to make sure that claims are handled efficiently and that payment for valid claims is made to policyholders. Will be involved in making decisions on the extent and validity of a claim, and checking for any fraudulent activity.

The Claims Handling Coordinators’ main responsibility is to make sure that claims are handled efficiently and that payment for valid claims is made to policyholders. Will be involved in making decisions on the extent and validity of a claim, and checking for any fraudulent activity.

Responsibilities:

  • The management of the claims process from the accident to the actual compensation of the driver
  • The collection of the accurate information and documentation regarding the accident
  • Assessment of which party carriesMotor Claims Handling Coordinator (MCHC) the responsibility for the accident
  • Evaluation of the value of the damage
  • Investigation of potential fraudulent claims
  • Negotiations with the TP’s insurance company
  • Ensuring a fair settlement of a valid claim
  • Building relationships with loss adjusters, forensic accountants and solicitors, as well as other legal and claims professionals

Qualifications and skills:

  • At least 3 years of experience in motor claims handling
  • Good understanding of the insurance market
  • A Bachelor Degree is preferable but not mandatory
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Good command of Greek and English language (written & oral)
